This is a perfect project for trying new materials and threads. The thread kit I offer is pearl cotton, but any decorative threads can be used. Try wool thread, linen thread, or silk threads to suggest just a few, and each will give a different style to the finished piece. Combine them all for a creative, unique look!

Description

This smaller size table mat has big impact. Basic bold penny circles decorated with fun and easy embroidery stitches sewn onto a deep teal wool background. Finished size: 26.75″ x 9.75″.

Kit includes the wool fabrics and the pattern.
The thread kit includes – 3 yards each of 15 assorted pearl cotton thread colors, and 9 yards of an ivory variegated pearl cotton.
To finish the outside edge, I offer 2-1/2 yards of my hand made the bias tape.
